Asit Tripathy resigns as WODC chairman.
Bhubaneswar: Asit Kumar Tripathy has re- signed as the chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC), sources said Saturday.
“His resignation has been ac- cepted by the government today,” they added.
“The resignation of Asit Kumar Tripathy, chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) under the ad- ministrative control of P&C depart- ment is hereby accepted with effect from August 17,” an order issued by the Planning and Convergence department stated.
A former Chief Secretary of Odisha, Tripathy had been in the position since 2020.
In December 2020, he was ap- pointed as the chairman of the WODC.
